It was a pleasure to organise our Poster Event at Headway Sussex on 17 June 2025 with the help of our lovely steering group members and our wonderful chair, Wendy Langridge.

The event aimed to raise awareness of acquired brain injuries and provide valuable information, resources and support for those affected. The day featured 9 presentations, details of which are listed below:

  • Ian Foster (Chief Executive) at Headway Sussex
  • Arlette Foster (Group Facilitator) at Headway Sussex
  • Jonathan Clement (Partner) at CL Medilaw & Trustee of Headway
  • Tom Taverner (Clinical Director) at Vim Health
  • Reinhart Burger (Clinical Psychologist) at Brain Kind
  • Professor Jane Powell (CEO) of Cognivate
  • Laura Winstanley (Neuropsychologist) at Cognity
  • Alberto Bonilla Miralles (Clinical Psychologist) at Cognity
  • Kevin Maslen (Director) at Harmony Healthcare

Thank you very much to all presenters for sharing their time, knowledge and expertise.

The event was engaging and informative, with great questions being asked from attendees helping us to all better understand the services that are available and how we can collaborate more effectively. After the presentations, there was time for networking to connect with others, share experiences and build support networks.

A big thank you to Headway for allowing us to host the event at their Sussex base.

If anyone would like access to the presentation slides from the event, please get in touch with me.

For those who weren’t able to join us this time, we hope to see you at a future event.
